The Kings Beach Ed Spec Committee has the responsibility of drafting an ed spec document for projects that have, or will, happen at the site.  The ed spec describes the educational program that the project will be designed to.  This document is used by the project architect to define the needs the building must be designed to meet.  The committee typically stays involved after the documents are completed and receive regular updates on the projects.  The Kings Beach committee has been at work for a number of years on a variety of projects including three modernization projects, the Multipurpose Room Expansion, the new Media Technology Center, and the joint use Student/Community Activity Center which was planned and built in conjunction with the North Tahoe Boys and Girls Club.
