The Measure R Committee has been charged with oversight responsibilities for the spending of Lake Area bond funds from the Measure R bond, which passed in 1999.  This committee worked with a number of major projects a the Lake which are now complete or under construction.  Among those were the NTHS/MS Gymnasium Flooring and Modernization Project, the Tahoe Lake Modernization Project, the Rideout Modernization, the new North Tahoe Gymnasium Project, the Kings Beach Student/Community Activity Center, and the NTHS/MS Reconstruction.  This committee was re-formed in March 2003 with many new members as the Measure J/R Committee.
